Pimp This Ride!
We make the claim that this is your one-stop shop... There is nothing you need for your bike we don't supply from a small o-ring to a new engine. To back up that claim we are pimping a gorgeous Harley Davidson using only parts and supplies we sell, and giving you a photo-by-photo progress report on it. We aren't going to open any cases, just bolt-on improvements and gimcracks. Yes - if you want to open your cases and get fancy inside - cool - we have what you need. But for this project we are going to pimp the darn thing until the tires roll flat.
Our platform is a cherry 1998 Road King Classic - a bike that screams pure Harley Davidson. Specifically a FLHR-Ci. Pretty much any part we put on here you can also get for your model Harley, so don't think what we are doing is specific only to the Road King.
When we can get our head around the technical aspects of it we will open a blog feature on this so you can post thoughts and ideas, ask questions or whatever.
For your benefit we are using large high resolution photos that show great detail, and for this reason the files will be slow to load - so be patient!
There is no time frame on this project, but like many of you we have a budget and groceries to buy, so as we can do it we will add something here and there. Check in regularly to see what we are up to, and what we have planned. Enjoy!
